St. Joseph’s Convent Culture Fest was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy from 25th to 27th July through a variety of individual competitions, followed by group competitions from 29th to 30th July. The fest aimed to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage, creativity, talent, teamwork and traditional values among the students.
The individual competitions included Rangoli, Drawing, Janapada Singing, Hairstyle, Vegetable Carving, Flower Arrangement, Paper Craft, Best Out of Waste, Newspaper Drawing, “I Love My Library”, and Cooking Without Fire. These activities provided students with opportunities to express their creativity, develop practical skills and showcase their individual talents.
The group competitions included depicting the traditions and culture of the Kalyana Karnataka region in village style, folk dance and singing, the traditions and culture of Indian states, and value-based skits. The students enthusiastically presented various cultural traditions, folk arts, social values and messages through their performances.
The Culture Fest was a vibrant celebration of unity in diversity, creativity, tradition and values. It encouraged students to appreciate our rich cultural heritage while fostering confidence, cooperation, leadership and team spirit. The event was a memorable and enriching experience for all the students and staff.
